School and Alaska

Today officialy starts final week. This is one of two weeks of the year that I despise with all my life. Fun fun... I guess this is my first post that is really about my life. The others were all intros and talking about my webpage. But first I want to say that anyone who reads this blog please comment and join as a member so I know that people acually read this.
Right now I am in Web Design 2 but sense it is near the end of the year we have nothing to do. So I decided to write a new post, which I haven't done in quite a while. After finals week is the last day of school. This is the most unnessesary day in school. It is on Monday and it is a half-day. Instead of 4 different classes a day we have all 8 on Monday. Each class will be 20 minutes long. It will mostly be filled with parties and work in Mrs. Redd's class.
When the school year is over I will be leaving the great town of Mount Vernon to Coffee Point, Alaska. During the summers I work out on my father's boat. He is a commercial fisherman. I am one of 3 crewman on his boat. We live on this boat and fish for 16 hours a day for a month. This is a job most of my family is in. 3 of my uncles have boats and my cousin uses my grandpa's. We fish for sockeye salmon using very long nets. This is a very interesting job that the income is all decided on your willing to work. This year will be especialy hard for me because I will be leaving my girlfriend for a whole month. Which will drive me crazy because I love her very much and I miss her if i dont see her for a whole weekend...or day.
